I am a Ph.D. student at Robotics Institute, CMU, advised by Prof. Christopher G. Atkeson. I obtained my M.S. in Robotics at CMU, advised by Prof. Abhinav Gupta. I was a visiting student working with Prof. David Held. I received my undergraduate degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, working with Prof. Hang Zhao. During my undergrad study, I was fortunate to be an intern with Prof. Peter Kazanzides and Prof. Russell H. Taylor at JHU.
My research interests lie in the general area of robotics, computer vision, and machine learning. My ultimate goal is to build machines that act, learn and think like people. In my research, I focus on making robots learn from people, and how to make robots learn through their own data.
I am usually looking for students to help with research projects both during the semester and over the summer. If you are interested, please drop me an email.
